Halloween Party
Our first party of the holiday season will be a "Saints and Sinners" weekend party, from October 31st through November 2nd. Since Halloween falls on Friday night, and Saturday is All Saints` Day, we`re having a combination event at a lodge in Gold Bar, WA. The costume party on Saturday night is general-invitation for those who have attended a dinner. There is a party fee of $25 per person or $40 per couple, to help cover costs for the venue, the decorations, the costume prizes, and the lavish spread being planned by Patrick and his saintly (and otherwise) assistants. Please do not ask us to make exceptions, as there is plenty of time to save up your allowance and participate in this awesome event!
The facility has ten double-occupancy bedrooms. Prices quoted for room bookings will include meals and the party fee. We usually have a buffet Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Griselde is the coordinator for room bookings, so email her with your requests
(yefairgriselde@thepalmsseattle.com). To give you a general idea, a room for two people, for both Friday and Saturday nights, is $300 - or $260 for single occupancy, so you might as well bring a pal!We always have a great time at these events, so contact us soon!’
Note: Official chat room times have changed. Since most people don't arrive until later anyway, we are changing the time to 9 pm (pst) to start. We are also adding Friday nights, to see how that goes. Your input is welcome.
The Palms Seattle meet once a month at a north Seattle restaurant for dinner and conversation. This is a casual , no pressure event and new members are very much welcome.
We also host parties every few months, a Video Review Brunch about every six weeks, and The Ladies Luncheon, which is a great way for ladies to introduce themselves to the other ladies of the group. We have coffee and munchies and lots of girl talk. Girls- if you're nervous about attending a dinner cold, consider this event,- it's fun, we let our hair down, and when you do attend a dinner you'll no doubt instantly recognize a member of your "posse", and a friendly face.
For those who may be wondering what the video review brunch is about, this is an event that I created some time back. It's always on a Sunday, usually between 11 am and 1 pm to start. We have a collection of videos and books/ magazines in our library that anyone is welcome to "check out". All we ask is that you return them the next time you attend a brunch. We typically watch one video in completion, often we have a brand new one to view. We also watch bits and pieces sometimes, and comments, heckling, and opinions are highly encouraged. Feel free to bring a video you'd like to watch with the group, whether you want to donate it or not, that's not a necessity.
Occasionally at brunches we may play a few very lighthearted spanking games, but no one is EVER pressured to play, kicking back and watching is just fine. Also sometimes at brunches we stop laughing long enough to actually review a video! And that's very interesting, hearing people's different views as to their likes and dislikes.
